About Nind Electrical
Ron Nind established Nind Electrical Services Ltd in 1977. Since then the business has grown in size and reputation. Today the Nind Group employs over 100 staff including a mix of Registered Electricians and Electrical Apprentices plus Fitters, Electricians & Engineers employed by Nind Dairy Services Ltd.
The Nind Group Head Office is based in Invercargill, which is also the core Branch of the business.
Nind Electrical services a wide range of customers including Industrial, Commercial and Residential customers whereas Nind Dairy Services is totally focussed on supplying turnkey solutions for Dairy Farms throughout Southland, Otago and Central Otago.
The Nind Electrical Queenstown branch was established in 2000 and now employs qualified staff operating from a Workshop based at 146 Glenda Drive, Frankton plus we also have registered electricians based in Cromwell with a workshop at 4 Wolter Crescent. We are involved in servicing clients involved in Property Development including Apartment Complexes and Residential Homes (including group homes) in Queenstown, Cromwell, Alexandra, Clyde and Wanaka. We are also involved with clients developing and refurbishing Commercial Property throughout Central Otago.
Our Dunedin branch services a wide range of Industrial, Commercial and Residential projects. The team of qualified Electricians and Electrical apprentices are experienced and always willing to take on new challenges
Our Christchurch branch was established in 2012 in response to the ChCh Earthquakes. Originally working with EQC repairs Nind have since become involved with several large commercial projects and the team of over 30 Registered Electricians and Apprentices is now well established and are excited about the future and being involved with rebuilding a brand new city.

Worksafe Practices
Nind Electrical has invested heavily into Safety and Wellbeing. Nind has a full time Health & Safety Co-ordinator with a major focus on incremental improvement in our Safety outcomes. Nind has various Pre-Qualification certificates with the most commonly requested one being Sitewise which we update annually.
